BYD to Launch Han, Tang and Yuan PLUS Models in Europe This Fall

Shenzhen-based automotive company BYD announced on August 27 that it will launch a variety of new energy vehicle models for the European market this fall, including the BYD Tang, Han and Yuan PLUS, and that it will participate in the Paris Motor Show in October this year.

In 1998, BYD set up its first European branch in the Netherlands. After 24 years of hard work, BYD’s business in Europe has expanded to new energy fields such as solar energy, energy storage, electric buses, trucks and forklifts, and its operations now cover more than 20 countries and 100 cities in Europe.

Since 2020, BYD’s European market expansion has accelerated. In August 2021, BYD’s Tang EV was introduced and started delivery in Norway. On December 21, 2021, BYD delivered 1,000 Tang EVs in Norway, initially opening up the export mode from China to Europe within its own system.
