Chipset Specs for Huawei Nova 10 Smartphone Leaked

According to Chinese digital bloggers, Huawei’s latest Nova 10 smartphone series is expected to be released in June, and it still only supports 4G. A tipster with web username “@Changzhang Shi Guantongxue” said on Wednesday that the Nova 10 series will adopt Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G and Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chips, while MediaTek Dimensity chips will not be used.

The adjustment of the Nova 10 series in terms of software and camera modules is better this time. Although the model itself only supports 4G, it is reported that Huawei will launch a special smartphone case which will enable it to support 5G. This case is expected to be launched together with the new model at the press conference in June, but it also might be postponed until the third quarter.

Weibo blogger with username “@Wangzai Baishitong” also revealed that in the Nova 10 series, one model will be the same as the Nova 9 series, which adopts a Snapdragon 778G processor.

According to leaked information, among the two new smartphones in the Huawei Nova 10 series, the standard version will be equipped with a Snapdragon 778G processor, along with a 120 Hz high refresh rate OLED curved display. The processor and key features of the smartphone will remain unchanged from the last generation, but the appearance will see significant upgrades.

The Huawei Nova 10 Pro will be equipped with a new-generation Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor, and its performance is likely to be greatly improved.

The Huawei Nova 9 Pro series was released last year. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G chipset, supports 100W Huawei super-fast charging, and has a battery capacity of 4000mAh, which can be fully charged in 20 minutes.

It supports multi-network cooperation, dual-network concurrency, multi-device communication sharing and AI signal prediction. The smartphone is equipped with a 120Hz color display that is reportedly capable of producing 1 billion colors, and adopts a dual 32 megapixel camera for the most advanced version.
