Crypto Exchange FTX to Delist ANC, Suspend Deposits and Withdrawals of LUNC and USTC

Crypto derivatives exchange FTX said on September 5 that it will suspend deposits and withdrawals of Terra Classic (LUNC) and TerraClassicUSD (USTC), and delist Anchor Protocol (ANC) tokens, starting from September 12.

Although the crypto exchange will continue to support the “convert function” for LUNC and USTC, it will suspend the ANC spot and futures markets.

FTX will cancel all ANC/USD and ANC-PERP orders, and cease trading on ANC/USD and ANC-PERP markets. ANC-PERP will cash-expire to a 1-hour TWAP of its corresponding index prices. However, the “convert function” for ANC will be available on the crypto exchange.

Last week, FTX announced its support for the LUNC network upgrade. Following a successful update, it reopened withdrawals for all LUNC tokens. Additionally, Binance previously announced the suspension of LUNC and USTC due to the closure of the Shuttle Bridge. Shuttle is a Terra-Ethereum bridge, which currently only allows Terra assets to be sent between Terra and Ethereum networks.
