Geely-backed Caocao Mobility Changes Legal Representative

Jiemian News reported on Thursday that, according to people familiar with Caocao Mobility, Liu Jinliang, the former Chairman of Caocao Mobility, will no no longer preside over the operations of the company.

Hangzhou Youxing Technology Co., Ltd., the parent company of Caocao Mobility, has recently completed a change in legal representation. As a result, Liu Jinliang will no longer serve as its legal representative. In his place, Gong Xin will take over. In addition, Dong Kainan withdrew from the post of general manager.

Liu Jinliang graduated from Capital University of Economics and Business with a major in industrial enterprise management. He joined Caocao Mobility in May 2021 and served as the CEO of the company while in office. In his previous post, he was the general manager of DiDi Premier’s business department.

Caocao Mobility is a strategic investment business of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group in the layout of “New Energy Vehicle Sharing Ecology”. In 2019, the name “Caocao Special Car” was changed to “Caocao Mobility”. Under the leadership of Liu Jinliang, Caocao Mobility has entered more than 60 cities in China and has more than 600,000 registered drivers. In addition, its product line has covered services such as online car-hailing, hitchhiking, and Intra-city Service.

In the past six months, Caocao Mobility’s order numbers have grown at a significant rate. In September this year, Gong Xin said in an interview with Jiemian News that its order quantity has doubled in the past three months. In some larger cities, Caocao Mobility’s market share has been close to 20%.

Finally, Caocao Mobility will launch customized models, which are expected to be officially put into the market en masse next year.
