Huawei Rumored to Hold Another Launch Event on July 27

Shenzhen-based technology giant Huawei held a launch event on July 4 for its nova 10 series of smartphones, the Watch Fit 2 smartwatch and more. According to tips by a Chinese tech industry blogger on July 5, Huawei will hold another launch event on July 27 to release more new products.

According to the blogger, the upcoming products include the FreeBuds Pro 2 headphones, smart screen S Pro 86, new MateBook X Pro, MatePad Pro 11 and Enjoy 50 Pro smartphone.

Previous reports showed that the official version of Harmony OS 3.0 would be released at the end of this month. The blogger added that the new operating system will be released on July 24.

Huawei released the FreeBuds Pro 2 headset overseas on June 23. Co-engineered with Devialet, the earphones bring out all of the textures and timbres lurking in each piece of music, with surging bass and crystal sound quality. The earbuds lower the surrounding sound by up to 47dB, support IP54 compliant for water and dust resistance, and provide three color choices including Silver Blue, Silver Frost, and Ceramic White.

In terms of compatibility, Huawei’s FreeBuds Pro 2 support running on Android and HarmonyOS devices. Huawei promises up to 30 hours of battery life with the case. Play time on a single charge is said to be four hours with ANC turned on and six and a half hours with the ANC turned off. The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 can be found in some markets for the equivalent of €199.

The Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro, which has been approved by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, uses a 6.7-inch LCD screen, built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 40W wired charging and HarmonyOS. It has a 50MP main camera and two 2MP lenses on the rear, as well as one 8MP selfie camera.
