Huawei Signs MOU with Boton Technology for Cooperation on Naked-Eye 3D

Chinastarmarket.cn reported on Tuesday that Huawei has signed a cooperation agreement with Wuxi Boton Technology Co., Ltd. at the establishment of the Wuxi Metaverse Innovation Alliance. In addition, the two sides cooperated in the fields of intelligent mine construction and naked-eye 3D applications. In the future, Boton Technology’s smart transport system, unmanned driving technology and naked-eye 3D equipment Sapce1 will provide support for Huawei’s open-pit mine business.

Boton Technology said, “the cooperation now is only in the form of a memorandum, but we will cooperate with Huawei in the field of industrial intelligent numerical control such as naked-eye 3D technology application and smart mine construction. We will provide hardware equipment and technical support for commercialization, and jointly develop specific content application scenarios with Huawei.”

Public information suggests Boton Technology is mainly engaged in the industrial internet (full-stack service for intelligent transportation of bulk materials) and mobile internet. The company applies new generation information technologies such as cloud computing, big data, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence and thereby provides customers with unmanned transportation solutions for bulk materials such as mineral resources around industrial scenarios like open-pit mines, underground mining, iron and steel smelting, sand and gravel aggregates and bulk cargo ports. As such, it provides full-stack service for the intelligent transportation of industrial bulk materials.

Boton Technology’s Q3 report from 2021 indicates its quarterly revenue was 1.972 billion yuan, up 1.03% year-on-year. The net profit attributed to the parent company owner’s was 333 million yuan, up 5.39% year-on-year. Lastly, net profit was deducted by 324 million yuan, up 4.33% year-on-year.
