iQIYI Sports Lands Streaming Rights for Italian Serie A

iQIYI Sports, a video streaming platform owned by Beijing-based tech giant Baidu, announced on Thursday that it has won the rights to broadcast Italian Serie A football competitions, with live broadcasts scheduled to begin next season.

The 2022/23 season is due to commence from August 14. Sports fans in China will be able to watch Serie A content on platforms such as iQIYI Sports and iQIYI’s TV app.

iQIYI Sports will present information on the Italian Serie A from all-round and multi-angle aspects, spanning news, competition prospects, live reports, and event highlights. It will provide fresh and interesting interaction activities through in-depth cooperation with Italian Serie A clubs, so that fans can feel the charm of Serie A at a closer distance.

In addition, users who purchase additional value-added services can enjoy ad-free streaming, with 1080P HD image quality and commentary in many languages.
