Next OnePlus Flagship Smartphone Reportedly Named “OnePlus 11”

Previously leaked information indicated that the next flagship smartphone model to be released by Shenzhen-based consumer electronics firm OnePlus would be named the OnePlus 11 Pro. However, according to a recent Twitter statement by prominent tech commentator Max Jambor, the new device will actually simply be named the OnePlus 11, although it will still be available in Pro versions. As for the specific OnePlus 11 Pro version, Jambor has forecast that it will not be launched until the first quarter of 2023 at the earliest.

Steve Hemmerstoffer, another well-known tech industry commentator with Twitter handle @OnLeaks, claimed to have heard similar news from his sources, bolstering the authenticity of these new details.

Previously, the OnePlus 10 series did not launch an ordinary device version, but instead directly launched the OnePlus 10 Pro. If the leaked information is true, the OnePlus 11 series will adopt a reverse naming strategy.

According to information disclosed by 91mobiles, the new OnePlus 11 model will adopt a 6.7-inch QHD+ resolution AMOLED notch screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. In terms of performance, the OnePlus 11 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with a maximum of 16GB RAM + 256GB storage.

In terms of battery life, the new model will have a built-in 5000mAh battery and support 100W wired fast charging. At the same time, the OnePlus 11 will be equipped with a three-position slider button – a classic design of OnePlus smartphones.

Moreover, the new phone will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, Dolby panoramic sound and co-branding with Hasselblad, a Swedish manufacturer of medium format cameras. It will be equipped with the Android 13 operating system and is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2023.
