Honor 70 Smartphone Series to Be Launched May 30

Chinese smartphone brand Honor announced on Wednesday that the new Honor 70 series will be released at 19:30 on May 30, also showing the products’ design with the release of a promotional video.

The video shows the appearance of the Honor 70 series with a brand-new color called “Flowing Crystal,” which features a dual-circle rear camera module with three cameras and a diamond-shaped texture on the back.

According to Chinese Weibo blogger “Digital Chat Station,” the Honor 70 series will debut a Sony IMX8 super-large bottom CMOS, which is a sensor customized by Honor and Sony, and its photosensitive unit will be larger than that of the Sony IMX866 first launched by Vivo X80.

Previous tips by blogger “Yash Raj Chaudhary” also released the latest Honor 70 series specifications.

The Honor 70 is expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm 7Gen1 chip and will have a screen that supports high frequency dimming, a 120Hz refresh rate and 10bit color. The three rear cameras will be 100 MP, 8 MP ultra wide and 2 MP marco. The device will support 66W fast charging and uses a 4800mAh battery. Furthermore, the phone has a Z-axis linear motor, stereo dual-lift, NFC and other functions.

The Honor 70 Pro will also be equipped with a MediaTek 8100 and its screen parameters will be the same as the standard version. However, the difference will lie in the three rear cameras, which will include a 50 MP (IMX766 + OIS) lens, a 50 MP ultra-wide angle, and an 8 MP telephoto. The battery will also support 66W fast charging.

The Honor 70 Pro+ will be equipped with a MediaTek 9000, but will still feature the same screen parameters as the standard version. Its camera setup will include a 50 MP (IMX766 + OIS), a 50 MP ultra-wide angle, and a 12 MP telephoto. The battery will be 4600mAh and will support 100W fast charging.
