Lenovo’s new flagship Z5 Pro will be officially released at Lenovo’s global headquarters in Beijing on Nov. 1. Lenovo Group Vice President Chang Cheng posted the announcement on the Chinese micro-blogging platform Weibo on Oct. 25.
“Every aspect of the user experience has been improved, every detail of the product has been polished, and it all stems from the love of technology. After waiting for so long, I can finally say it: Lenovo’s Z5 Pro, the flagship of this generation, is here. Fans from all over the world are waiting for you at home on November 1.”
Chang Cheng said in his Weibo post.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro is the upgrade of the Z5 model that was released earlier this year. Lenovo claims the Pro version comes without bezels giving it a 100% screen-to-body ratio. And the teaser poster published on Weibo confirmed that the flagship will sport the slide-out camera mechanism, much like its competitor the Mi Mix 3 that was released yesterday.
The new flagship will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It supports in-display fingerprint recognition and will most likely come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution. Further details about the specifications have yet to be officially announced.
