Tesla Raises Price in China, Again

On November 21, Tesla Model Y Long Range Version raised price to 304,400 yuan, an increase of 2,000 yuan.

A Tesla salesperson revealed that due to good sales, high pressure on the production line, and rising production costs, Tesla models will continue to see a price rise this week. “According to our internal information, this is a continuous price increase, targeting all models,” an anonymous salesperson told the Chinese financial media Securities Times.

Tesla has already experienced three price increases in the past two weeks:

On October 27, the Model Y Performance version was the first to increase in price by 14,000 yuan, with the current starting price at 363,900 yuan.

On November 9, the price of the Model Y Long Range version increased by 2,500 yuan; the price of the Model 3 Long Range version increased by 1,500 yuan, with the current price at 297,400 yuan.

On November 14, the price of the Tesla Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive version increased by 1,500 yuan, with the adjusted starting price at 261,400 yuan; the price of the Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive version increased by 2,500 yuan, with the adjusted starting price at 266,400 yuan.
