This lithium iron phosphate battery pack has a capacity of 60KWh and a range of over 500km. It uses SVOLT’s L600 series cell products and LCTP grouping technology, which can meet the mainstream battery needs for A-class vehicles in the Thai market.

SVOLT stated that the first battery pack from their Thai factory will be equipped in the Great Wall Ora Good Cat Thailand version, and is expected to be available for mass supply in the first quarter of next year.

The SVOLT Thailand factory is a joint venture between SVOLT Energy (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SVOLT Energy, and Banpu NEXT, a subsidiary of the energy giant Banpu. It mainly focuses on various areas such as vehicle power batteries, 2-3 wheel vehicle batteries, energy storage, and recycling.

In addition, European automotive giant and global car manufacturer Stellantis Group will increase its total procurement of PACK battery packs from SVOLT by nearly 5.48GWh, in order to accelerate the implementation of its electrification strategy.
