Zepp Health’s Cumulative Global Shipments Exceed 200M

Zepp Health, a manufacturer of sports health wearable smart devices, announced on Wednesday that as of December 31, 2021, its global cumulative shipments of smart devices had exceeded 200 million units.

Zepp Health announced its Q4 2021 and full-year performance reports on March 17. According to the firm, its shipments in 2021 totaled 36.1 million units, while in 2020 it was 45.7 million units, down 21% year-on-year. Among them, the company’s self-owned brands’ shipments increased by 59.6%, while the wearable devices it manufactured for Xiaomi decreased by 30.5%.

The firm’s official website shows that Zepp Health, founded in 2013, is a cloud-based health services provider of the world’s leading smart wearable technology. It was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in February 2018.

It has built a complete health and fitness ecosystem, including wearable devices such as smart bracelets, smart watches and sports headphones, as well as treadmills, weighing scales, body fat scales, shoes and various clothing products related to sports and health.

Counterpoint Research data shows that in the fourth quarter of 2021, more than 40 million smart watches were delivered worldwide. The whole smart watch market grew by 24% in 2021, mainly because of the large increase in sales of smart watches under $100. Among them, Amazfit smart watches of Zepp Health accounted for 5.1% of the market in 2021.
