HUAWEI Launched Mate 10 Series in Germany

HUAWEI unveiled Mate 10, a new flagship smartphone series, at around 8:00 pm Beijing Time in Munich, Germany, including Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Edition, priced at EUR 699 (approximately RMB 5,437), EUR 799 (approximately RMB 6,215) and EUR 699 (approximately RMB 10,851) respectively.

HUAWEI has shown its dedication to photography through notable investment. HUAWEI has collaborated with Leica since last year’s P9, whose camera system was co-designed by HUAWEI and Leica. The photo quality came to become a superiority of HUAWEI’s flagship devices.

The new HUAWEI flagship products, Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, are the first to be equipped with the latest third generation Leica Dual Cameras.

On the specifications front, HUAWEI Mate 10 has a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel RGB + 20-megapixel monochrome sensors, and dual lenses with a large aperture of f/1.6, which not only is the first equipped with a large aperture of f/1.6, but also the largest aperture among all HUAWEI smartphones by far.

Officials say, HUAWEI Mate 10 has a superior low-light performance, and performs great in capturing low-light shots.

On top of that, HUAWEI Mate 10 is said to have aesthetic ability. Specifically, with AI-powered smartphone photography, the HUAWEI Mate 10 identifies, 13 different types of scenes in real-time, and automatically adjusts camera settings to produce better photographs.

On the configuration, Huawei Mate 10 features a 5.9-inch 2K screen, the Kirin 970 processor, a 4000 mAh battery and HUAWEI SuperCharge technology, powering the device from 1 percent to 58 percent within 30 minutes. Additionally, HUAWEI Mate 10 is the world’s first smartphone to receive TÜV Fast-Charge Safety Certification. The Mate 10 Pro’s display is a 6-inch 18:9 OLED.

HUAWEI Mate 10 features a front-mounted fingerprint sensor, while Mate 10 Pro’s fingerprint sensor is at the back. The Huawei Mate 10 comes in Champagne Gold, Black, Pink Gold and Mocha Brown color variants, whereas Mate 10 Pro arrives in Midnight Blue, Mocha Brown, Titanium Gray and Pink Gold color variants.

Mate 10 Porsche Edition’s vertical lines design on the back cover highlights the unique feeling of speed of the Porsche Design, as well as with Porsche Design’s exclusive UI. In addition, the Mate 10 Porsche Design comes with a customized case, a range of exclusive accessories, as well as a unique luxury experience. With a combination of 6GB RAM and 256GB ROM, it is the highest spec of the HUAWEI Mate 10 series.
